About

Hello, I am Wren.

I photograph people and quiet places, slowly, and I print the few frames that matter.

One camera bag, a lot of waiting.

I bought my first film camera at a flea market in Fort Worth and spent a year photographing my friends on their porches. I still work the same way: one person or one place, a few hours, and no rush.

Most sessions start with a long walk and very few photos. When the light turns and you stop thinking about the camera, the real frames happen. Afterward I edit hard and print the twelve or so that matter, so you have something to hold, not a folder to scroll.
